Digital Twin technology in AI-enabled engineering, smart city development, and future innovation

On 16 May 2026, Metason was invited by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) CPD Committee to speak at the seminar “Engineering the Intelligent Future: Artificial Intelligence Applications and Opportunities in the Greater Bay Area,” held at HKIE Headquarters — the “Home of Engineers.”

The session shared practical experience on the role of Digital Twin technology in AI-enabled engineering, smart city development, and future innovation across the Greater Bay Area — including how city-scale dynamic digital twins and NVIDIA Omniverse workflows support industrial project deployment and more efficient urban engineering.

The occasion brought together fellow engineers to discuss real-world AI applications and opportunities shaping an intelligent future for the GBA.
